Picky Plate offers parents and kids a solution to meal time struggles. By giving our children a bit of control over what they eat, we can make meal times less stressful. As parents, we prepare the meals and place what we want our children to eat inside the body of the dinosaur or princess. The child can choose whatever they don't want to eat and place it in the 1 3/4 ounce 'veto' portion on the plate. Whatever is left in the dinosaur and princess is what they have left to eat. Remember: smaller portions to begin with are less intimidating. It maybe hard but it is important to give up control and let your child choose what goes in the veto spot. If you try to control what they veto the concept will not work.

On each plate there is a 'veto' spot where children can place food they wish to 'veto' for their meal. On the dinosaur the veto spot is the poop and on the princess the veto spot is in the heart wand. Each 'veto' spot is 1 3/4 ounces.

Pizza, Chippy, Dino, and Princess are each 10" x 10" x 1" Hunny Bear and Hippo are 12" x 12" x 1"

The dinosaur is available in green and the princess is available in pink. More designs and colours will be available in the future.

Yes! The plates can withstand temperatures of -40°C to 250°C. You can place them in the fridge, freezer, microwave or dishwasher. They are also very easy to hand wash and rinse.
